Air Travel » Cheap Air Travel » Cheap air fares at airport?
Question:
Hi guys, I am looking for a couple of cheap one way flights from London to Sydney. One option I have thought about is to turn up at the airport, and try to buy tickets direct from the airlines. After all, the airlines may as well try to get a few quid, rather than flying with empty seats, particularly as so many airlines are supposed to be in strife at the moment. Anyone tried this recently, and if so what price did you get? Trev

Isn’t this pretty much what buying a standby ticket gets you? Daniel — Daniel Bowen, Melbourne, Australia Visiting Australia FAQ http://www.custard.net.au/australia/
