If you’re looking for an economy hotel, Super 8 is by far a great value. (I have a VIP card, which can be used for the guarantee and gives you a discount.)

Not looking for economy – just for a hotel that doesn’t say they are a BIG DEAL and charge lots of money for it,  and then nickel and dime you to death with charges for local calls, charges for coffee in the lobby, charges for using the coffee machine in the room, and charges for the workout rooms etc. grandma Rosalie

Super 8 is not a "workout room" hotel. Back when I only hit the pavement, not the air I spent a good deal of time in this hotel/motel chain. It’s a no-frills, clean bed, safe than Motel 6, often right off the highway type of place. The discount card is nice if you use it a lot. It’s no Fairmont or 4 Seasons. It serves its purpose well as a "value" chain now backs to the airplains! -g
