The subject said "Gay BA Flight attendants". We got a series on whether aol was anygood as an ISP. Why bother!

Do you really think that someone who works at BA, where thousands of people are employed worldwide, is going to be able to help you with your "love connection" with a male flight attendant that you found to be "hot"? I think this post is meant to cause an inflammatory response, and being gay myself, I don’t appreciate this sort of stereotypical "gay = sex-driven" post to a newsgroup that has nothing to do with it.  I wouldn’t expect to see a straight post for a "hot" female flight attendant here, and find it inappropriate for a gay posting as well. Please no flames (pun not intended), just my opinion. -Dan

Please don’t generalize AOL users.  I have used the Internet since ‘85 way before many of today’s users ever even touched a computer.  I have used ISP’s and suffered from mail held hostage and newsgroups which were weeks behind.  I now use the new and improved AOL, which has some very good content and acts as a virtual ISP. The point is, not all AOL users are newbies! -Dan

at home? Just because someone cant afford a "real" computer doesnt mean their ideas and behavior is all bad and vice versa. Remember Leo? he wasnt a webtv subscriber and I certainly found his posts as offensive on this NG as the first guys.

Well, since AOL has about 55% of the currently available accounts it’s not REALLY a problem with AOL.  AOL has the same percentage of bozos as anywhere else, there are just MORE bozos with AOL accounts simply because more PEOPLE have AOL accounts.

The problem is AOL send out those damn free month disk to EVERYBODY. It makes it very easy to become a AOL subcriber then it does to other ISP’s.. Tony/SAN
