Ac 856 YYz-LHR-Delhi is a 74E service (747-400 combi) that is the only certain day that a 400 flies!

Most likely a 747-200 or even a 100. Whether the 747 is full or a combi model I do not know. (combi = cargo pallets instead of seats in the back 1/3 of aircraft). AC has both on the 200 model. AC has a few 747-400s but I beleive they are used on the Pacific routes. They are all combi (eg: low PAX capacity, high cargo capacity)

When the guide does not specify what 747 then the airline varies their service depending on aircraft availablity. I know that a few times a week they offer a 74E service (747-400 combi) service.

Hello air travellers! I’m flying Air Canada to London-Heathrow from Toronto-Pearson Int’l on 27 December 1996 and London to Toronto on 03 January 1997, and would like to know what type of aircraft AC uses on this route. My guide tells me that they use the B-747 both ways, but it doesn’t say which series.
