Air Travel » Air Travel Flight » Tenerife?
Question:
It’s a long story, but I am considering a trip that will include Tenerife in the fall. Getting to London and/or Madrid will be no problem at all. My travel agent is working on numbers already. Tenerife is going to be a bit more unusual. My agent is very good, but this area doesn’t give her a lot of opportunity to deal in less usual places. Any information I can give her that will help would be greatly appreciated. — Kim

London to Tenerife is no problem at all, rather like New York to Florida is hardly difficult. HOWEVER, most of the seats on the Canary Islands routes are sold on charter flights for holiday makers, and these don’t show up in the computers. So probably the easiest way to get information would be to pick up a British Sunday newspaper and collect phone numbers of tour operators who offer "flight only" packages… >– Kim

You should have no problems getting to Tenerife from London or Madrid. Many charters cover the London route (try Monarch, air200, Britania) and Iberia, Spanair and Air Europa have scheduled flights from all the main Spanish airports. If you need any more specific information please mail me. Pepijn
